Scott Dirk began as an imaginary police commissioner who was quoted in an article about Barack Obama the Cat. His name was derived from a type of knife called a Scottish Dirk. Scott Dirk currently has Facebook and LinkedIn profiles with a sizable group of friends.
He's cultivated relationships with many people on these networks without ever being called out as a fake.
